I wrote this book to get a lot of stuff off my chest. Growing up, I didn’t have anyone pushing me to follow my dreams in the arts, such as writing, acting, and poetry. I also had to deal with a lot of trauma, including my mother being a crackhead, my father trying to touch me, and my partying years in my 20s.

But I’m finally getting started with my adult life, and I’m sharing my story in the hope that it will inspire others to heal from their own traumas.
